Significance of Measuring IGF-1 in Growth Hormone Disorders

Presented on: 5/11/2023
Abstract

Growth hormone disorders refer to a group of conditions characterized by abnormal secretion or action of growth hormone, produced by the pituitary gland. Growth hormone is important for the growth and development of the body, and its deficiency or excess can have a significant impact on physical and cognitive development. Therefore, it is important to diagnose and treat such disorders at an early stage to minimize the impact on growth and development and improve quality of life. In this webinar, Dr. Martin Bidlingmaier and Dr. Manolopoulou discuss growth hormone disorders and the need for reliable and accurate diagnosis.
